Wyoming Psychological Association 2017 Spring Conference
May 6th and 7th, 2017
Please join the Wyoming Psychological Association (WPA) and our workshop presenters for the 2017 Spring Educational Conference. The conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Casper, WY on May 6th and 7th, 2017.
This conference will feature three individual workshops that address ethics, suicide, and recent legislative changes impacting mental health professionals.
The primary conference workshops and presenters include:
· Erica Wise, Ph.D. is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Psychology Training Clinic in the clinical psychology doctoral program at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Wise will address the complex clinical, ethical, and legal elements in dilemmas encountered in the practice of psychology.
· Terresa Humphries-Wadsworth, Ph.D., is the Suicide Prevention Director of the Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming. Dr. Humphries-Wadsworth will speak to suicide programs, preventions, and related resources in Wyoming.
· Chris Newman, M.H.A., is the Senior Administrator of the Behavioral Health Division of the Wyoming Department of Health. Ms. Newman will provide an update on recent
Wyoming legislative activity and other items impacting mental health professionals in Wyoming.

Full conference attendees will earn 10 WPA CEs.
