Mental Health Case Manager Job Opening

  1. Develops and implements treatment plan for stabilization, mobilization and disposition appropriate for patient care within 72 hours of patient admission

  2. Assess coping mechanisms and current functioning in following areas: interpsychic, identity, inter-personal, family and group dynamics

  3. Plan and develop group treatments as a member of a multi-discipline team

  4. Implement group treatments ensuring a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment

  5. Ensure the follow-through of treatment goals concerning DBT therapy

  6. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements

  7.   8. Excellent interpersonal skills needed in dealing with patients, families, co-workers and the public

  9. Ability to assess situations/systems to formulate plans, select appropriate interventions, and evaluate policies/procedures

  10. Strong leadership skills and problem-solving skills required with short and long-term memory proficiency MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  11. Masters Degree in mental health field

  12. Two years’ experience in clinical care and case management

  13. One year in-patient or residential adult psychiatric or recovery experience

  14. Initial and annual CPI training completion as required for practice within the department PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  15. LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor), or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
