Date: Tuesday, March 5, 2019

Time: 3:45 – 6:00 PM MT

States Represented - Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming

Join from the comfort of your own home to learn about these healthcare organizations’ clinical environments, the populations they serve, and the rewards of providing care in their communities. To join, you will need a phone and a computer or tablet with internet connection.

Health care organizations will participate and discuss open substance use disorder positions for:

  1. Physicians;

  2. Nurse practitioners;

  3. Physician assistants;

  4. Certified nurse midwives;

  5. Psychologists;

  6. Licensed clinical social workers;

  7. Psychiatric nurse specialists;

  8. Marriage and family therapists;

  9. Licensed professional counselors;

  10. Pharmacists;

  11. Registered nurses; and,

  12. Substance use disorder counselors (master’s level education and state-issued license/certification)

Potential hiring health care organizations include:

  1. SAMHSA-certified Outpatient Treatment Programs (OTPs)

  2. Office-based Opioid Treatment Facilities (OBOTs)

  3. Non-opioid Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facilities (SUD Treatment Facilities)

  4. Federally Qualified Health Care Centers (FQHCs)

  5. FQHC Look-Alikes

  6. Rural Health Clinics (certified) (RHCs)

  7. Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs)

  8. American Indian Health Facilities

  9. State or Federal Correctional Facilities

  10. Community Health Centers

  11. State or Local Health Departments

  12. Community Outpatient Facilities

  13. Private Practices

  14. School Based Clinics

  15. Mobile Units and Free Clinics

Health care professionals who are hired by organizations in Health Professional Shortage Areas may also qualify for educational loan repayment through HRSA programs, such as the National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corps.
