WCA members meet with Casper legislative candidates

  1. educate them about mental health needs in the state,

  2. thank them for supporting Medicaid billing by licensed therapists during the last legislative session, and

  3. promote funding for 2 full-time faculty based at University of Wyoming at Casper to teach an MS Counseling cohort. The candidates also had questions about court-ordered commitments, remodeling the Wyoming State Hospital, bullying, and marijuana use.

The Wyoming Counseling Association (WCA) is a nonprofit, professional organization with the purpose of advocating for the counseling profession and supporting counselors across the state in their work and continuing education.

Wyoming Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No 2051. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. WCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
