CASAT -- ASI / ASAM Assessment for WYOMING Practitioners

June 4, 1pm - 4pm Mountain Time CASAT = Center for the Application for Substance Abuse Technology A training for Clinical staff to facilitate ​substance use disorder assessments in the​ir​ agenc​ies​. Managed care companies, treatment providers, and program evaluators use ​the addiction severity index and ​patient placement criteria to ensure that clients are ​referred in​to​ the appropriate level of care. By the end of the workshop, participants will:

1. Become familiar with the ​ASI domains, and ASAM ​patient placement criteria for clients with substance use disorders, adopted by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

2. Review admission, continued stay and discharge criteria for both adults and adolescents. This workshop is appropriate for addiction counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists and probation/parole officers. 3 CEH's https://training.casat.org/products/500
